General Information

The M-A Band Boosters is an informal group set up to aid in the logistics of getting performance groups to regional music competitions and supporting Mr. Moura's programs, notably the concert, jazz ensembles, and pep band.

Concert Band

Consisting of freshmen to seniors, this well-disciplined group plays brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments and performs works from the finest in concert band literature..

Jazz Band

The three jazz bands range from Beginning, Intermediate, to Advanced. The Intermediate and Advanced Jazz bands enrollment is through audition only. In addition to the traditional brass, woodwinds, and percussion, there are strings that consist of guitar, bass, and piano, with a vocal accompaniment.

Pep Band

Consisting of individuals from the Concert and Jazz bands who perform and support the M-A sports and other school events. They have fun playing at functions or events with the purpose of entertaining and "pepping" up a crowd.
